Barbara Harris Ellenberg

Barbara H. Ellenberg received her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law in 1989, and her B.A. in English Literature from Emory University. During law school, she worked as a research assistant for two professors, and was President of the Environmental Law Society. She is a member of the Georgia Bar, the South Carolina Bar, the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, the American Bar Association and the Atlanta Bar Association.

After an extended break devoted to motherhood and running a successful family business in South Carolina and Georgia, Barbara returned to the full time practice of law in the summer of 2004, where she represents entrepreneurs in all stages of business, from idea to exit. Barbara devotes her legal practice to corporate representation of small and mid size businesses, and assists her clients with contracts, commercial leases, employment and management strategy, trademarks and branding, and general corporate needs as they arise from time to time. Barbara's prior experience in owning and operating a small business makes her uniquely qualified to assist the new entrepreneur, as she has personally encountered many of the issues that a new business owner faces.

In her free time, Barbara is active with SERV Ministries, Hickory Flat United Methodist Church, and MUST Ministries. She is an avid football fan, cheering for the University of Georgia and Virginia Tech, as her sons attend those fine institutions.
