John R. Thornburgh

John R. Thornburgh graduated from the University of Georgia with a double major in English and Economics (B.A. 1984). He proceeded immediately to the University of Georgia School of Law where, in addition to his studies, he served as a member of the Editorial Board of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and worked part time as a research assistant for a professor in the School of Business. John obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the School of Law in 1987 and was admitted to the Georgia Bar in the Summer of 1987.

His primary practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and loan transactions, commercial real estate and general representation of closely held businesses.
